As shown in the illustration, the model is a Halla 280 with a thumb attachment. All hydraulic cylinders are functional, as well as full track rotation and house rotation,360 degrees. There are nine different species of wood in this model which includes oak, maple,purpleheart, mahogany, alder, birch,walnut, yew and pine. No artificial colours are used. Instead, Al has used woods with prominent natural colours to highlight the various parts of the model. The price of these custom made models varies,depending on level of detail required. Glass & wood display cases are also available, at a separate price. This model is approximately 23" from back to front when in position shown above.The model shown in these pictures was sold for Canadian $690, plus shipping, handling, insurance and taxes where applicable. |
