Improve Your Improvisation Skills -
Tighten Your Chops - Learn To Jam!
NEW - Jam CD 2 Released - with tutorial
This CD was created with one purpose in mind - TO JAM!
It's five ten minute long tracks of just electric bass ( played by a human
) and and electronic acoustic drums ( also played by human on an electronic
drum kit ) with some minor overdubs. These tracks are a compilation of jams
I've used with many bands over the years - it was hard to choose only 5!
This cd is great for guitarists, singers, keyboardists, or any solo
instrumentalist looking for a non intrusive jam session without a lot of
background instruments. It's a great way to learn and improve your
improvisational skills, as well as a great way to let it rip! This allows
you to go all out and stand out while doing it. I've included a
sample
of the 'slow blues in A' track - you'll have to buy the cd to get the
rest.
I've been playing most of my life, still not a virtuoso, but it's always
nice to crank up the stereo and jam along - or use headphones when you don't
want to disturb anyone.
Having these tracks on CD saves the hassle of setting up the sequencer, pc,
keyboards, and all those #$%^@ wires - just plug it into you boombox and
jam - couldn't be simpler.
I've made all the tracks 10 minutes because it seems to be about the right
length for a jam - not so short you have to replay the cd - not so long you
cramp up.
For beginners, the is a good opportunity to practice scales and timing over
and over with a little interesting background to break up the monotony of
practice. For intermediate to advanced players, it's a great opportunity
to just let go and tighten your chops and practice new techniques.
Here's the track list. Tracks with links have samples in MP3 to listen to.

We really can't provide any instructions on how to jam, nor are we here to
teach you how to play, but we can provide you with something a little better
than a 'beat box' or playing along with the radio.
Did I mention that you can use any of these tracks ROYALTY FREE in you projects?
If you just happen to create a hit song using these tracks as an influence,
it's yours and we're happy to have helped. You may use these tracks in any
